About the Program
This is a free but intensive 6 week program that will introduce participants to C++, HTML, and CSS. It will also feature guest presenters from Google, Facebook, Sandia National Laboratories, and more! Students will learn, work, and create in groups of five. They are expected to be able to work together and help one another.
Students will meet an hour once a week with Daniel for lecture and at least once with teaching assistants to receive additional help and instructions. They will be given homework, worksheets, and projects to do own their own and in class. Supplemental material such as videos, webcasts, notes, and more will be provided.
The goal of this program is to not only have students leave with a practical skill but also motivation to learn coding and creativity that cannot be replaced by computers.
